Forecast slashes estimate of public sector job losses
LONDON (AFP) – The independent Office for Budget Responsibility on Monday slashed its estimate of public sector job losses arising from spending cuts and raised its 2010 growth forecast to 1.8 percent from 1.2 percent, citing a stronger-than-expected recovery.
